Fortress Tax Defense

Texas · Multi-family · Recent tax years

We don't stop at the hearing. Our Texas attorneys can take your client's protest through district court, under one fee arrangement.

We cut Texas multi-family appraised values by up to 41% in recent years.

Every Fortress Tax Defense protest is prepared and argued by licensed Texas attorneys. If we believe there are still possible savings after the Appraisal Review Board protest, we can file in district court under the same fee arrangement — so a client you refer is covered all the way through. Most firms stop at the hearing. We don't.

A note on Tarrant County. Starting in 2024, Tarrant Appraisal District froze residential values, starting with the 2024 final values being identical to the 2025 notices. So, every reduction starts from where the last one ended. The savings compound year over year, and each year there is less left on the notice to take because a reduction was received in the previous year's protest. A Tarrant result that looks small on its own usually sits on top of 2 years of earlier reductions with no increase in the notice value.

Texas attorneys handle your protest

Your case is prepared and argued by licensed Texas attorneys — not a call center, not a form-filler.

Protest and district court, one fee arrangement

If we believe there are still possible savings after the Appraisal Review Board protest, we can file in district court under the same fee arrangement. A tax consultant can’t file that suit. Attorneys can.

0%

Fee if we don’t win

Our fee is a share of what you save, at the protest or in court. No reduction, no invoice. Every season since 2020.
